I'm not one for doing art pieces with "nudity" (or semi-nude in this case), but this is a tribute to my favorite story/manga/anime of all time. I haven't run into a story that has broken my heart or touched me more deeply than Elfen Lied ever has, and I'm not sure there ever will be. I started by watching Elfen Lied in 2007 when I first started watching anime all together and it really took me in. With the ending that the anime provides I really needed to know more and I didn't discover the manga until almost an entire year later! I love both the Anime and the Manga as their own entities, but the manga is clearly superior for the story. The tragic nature of the story has really influenced my own writing as well as some of my characters. I love Elfen Lied and thank you Lynn Okamoto for making such a genius/tragic story!
